  Wedding Receptions

The picturesque view from our Reception room and our proximity to many local communities makes Carlisle Golf and Country Club the ideal setting for your special day. We offer a beautiful view overlooking the golf course and its many trees and ponds.

Our Reception Room accommodates up to 260 guests. It has windows along the entire back of the room, an adjacent fully covered patio, board & batten across the walls and a separate bar and dance floor area which offers you the quaint country setting that you desire.

Carlisle has many menu choices to offer from buffet style to plated and includes our renowned “Prime Rib with Yorkshire pudding”. General Information


Menu

  • Our Executive Chef will work closely with you in choosing your menu selection. No food and/or beverage may be brought in or taken out of the club, with the exception of a wedding cake. Banquet prices are subject to change without notice. Special may be arranged and will be priced accordingly.

Guaranteed Number

  • Carlisle Golf & Country Club must be notified of the guaranteed attendance at least four days prior to the event date. In the event that the attendance is less than the guarantee, the client will be responsible for the guaranteed number.

Room Rental

  • A room rental fee of $500 is additional

Bar

  • The Ontario Liquor Laws will not permit any alcoholic beverages to be brought in or taken out of a licensed establishment. Hours of service are 11:00 am to 1:00 am. Host bars are based on consumption and not a flat rate per person. The LCBO does not allow the discounting of liquor and therefore requires each beverage to be paid for in full.

Clubhouse

  • Carlisle Golf & Country Club is a non-smoking facility. The use of confetti or rice is NOT permitted inside or outside the Clubhouse. A cleaning charge of $250 will be levied.

Entertainment

  • Carlisle Golf & Country Club must be advised of all entertainment being provided by the customer. A charge representing the SOCAN fee ($57.55) will be levied by any event hosting entertainment at their function.

Centrepieces

  • Due to fire regulations and Carlisle Golf & Country Club policies absolutely no open flames (candle type centrepieces, etc.) are allowed on the premises. If in doubt, please contact the Operations Manager for clarification before purchasing your centrepiece. Glass or cover must encase all open flames.

Billing Information

  • Carlisle Golf & Country Club requires the deposit of $1000 in order to confirm the rental of the premises and will be held and applied to your final invoice. The client will be provided with an estimate of the total expenditures at the time of finalizing the arrangements. Carlisle must receive payment of this amount one week prior to the function date by Cash, Credit Card (with a 2% Surcharge) or Certified Cheque. An itemized invoice will be forwarded following the event. If a credit owes, Carlisle Golf & Country Club will forward this to the customer within two weeks following the above function. Terms of Payment are net 10 days of the final invoice. Payments received after 10 days are subject to a 2% per month penalty.
