2010 Carlisle Ladies League
Carlisle Golf and Country Club is pleased to announce that the Carlisle Ladies League will continue to offer affordable golf within a structured environment. The league committee is excited to offer new ideas and events to further your golfing enjoyment within the league.
Our ladies league is slated to begin on Monday May 3rd , and continue on every Monday (Tuesdays in event of a holiday Monday) until our Buffet Banquet Dinner on October 4th. A grand total of 23 weeks of golf.
The cost to join the league is $75 per person, which goes towards weekly and yearly prizes for gross and net scores, closest to the pin contests, and specialty prizes. Also included is a our Opening Wine and Cheese promotion on May 3rd , and the year- end awards banquet on October 4th which features our outstanding Prime Rib Buffet. Tee times for the 9-hole league play begin at 4:00, and fees are $25 plus taxes. Anyone wishing to play 18 holes may book tee times starting at 2:00 (subject to availability), for $40 walking and $55 riding plus taxes. This season due to events planned on certain Mondays we may on occasion be forced to play one of our sister courses. I will try to inform you of the course and the date when it is confirmed to me.
With 27 great holes of golf to play the response has been very positive, and we may have to limit the number of members in the league. We want to ensure that everyone who joins has an opportunity to play every week if they so desire. Priority is given to returning 2009 members, with applications then being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please return the attached application ASAP accompanied by either a credit card number or a cheque post-dated for May 1/09 ($75 made payable to Carlisle Golf Club). For additional applications or for more information, please contact Neil Darragh at 905-689-8820, or via e-mail at darraghn@carlislegolf.com.

Junior Golf Academy
For the 2009 season we will be offering junior programs that will cater to golfers of all skill levels. The 2009 itinerary includes a "Carlisle Kids" Golf Clinic at $44 for three one-hour sessions beginning in April, a Junior Development League which is a 14 week semi-competitive structured league offering juniors the chance to play and practice, and finally our Junior Golf Camps which are being offered for 4 weeks in July or August.
"The Carlisle Kids" Golf Clinics
This clinic has been designed to initiate good golfing habits in kids aged 5-15 for the upcoming season. There is no experience necessary and no clubs required, however this program is also a great reminder of the fundamentals for the more experienced junior golfer. The program consists of three 1-hour sessions. There will be two time spots available (2 or 3:30pm). The cost is only $44 per golfer however space is limited to 36 students per class.
